Amazon.com Product Description

Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Wipes are made with your baby, and your environment, in mind. Unlike conventional baby wipes, Seventh Generation Wipes are not bleached with chlorine, and don’t contain alcohol, fragrance, or synthetic ingredients that may irritate baby’s sensitive skin.

Completely Natural Cleaning for Your Baby
Every caregiver wants what’s best for their children and the world they will grow up in. Studies show that children are disproportionately affected by daily exposures to toxic chemicals. But caregivers often had to choose between products that worked and products that were healthy for their baby and the planet. Until now.

When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment.

These baby wipes are made with all-natural ingredients, including water, Polysorbate 20 (a cleansing agent derived from sugar), glycerin (soothes and cleanses skin, vegetable-oil derived), citric acid (provides stability and pH balance), potassium sorbate (a natural preservative), aloe barbadensis gel (helps heal skin), and tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E acetate, helps heal skin).

Hypo-allergenic, whitened without chlorine bleach, unscented, and alcohol free, Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby Wipes offer are perfect for around the house.

About Seventh Generation

Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Dry… don’t buy in bulk, they dry up quickly.
These wipes are a-okay, not great and not terrible. However, there are millions of other wipes that are phenomenally better.

Irritates the skin, has a weird smell and I am done with this product !
We bought these wipes cause they are environmentally friendly and chlorine free. They certainly are an environmentally safe product but I have my doubts about being alcohol free…

I love these baby wipes. They’re strong, they stay moist, and they don’t leave residue or a scent on the baby. My daughter doesn’t get diaper rash from them either. Because they contain aloe, they’re good for my hands, too, which helps because new moms are constantly washing their hands. I haven’t found any place other than Amazon where they’re cheaper – Amazon is the place to buy them. I’ve also purchased a case of the travel size wipes for the diaper bag – they’re perfect. I was actually given a case of huggies wipes at my baby shower and haven’t used them because I like the Seventh Generation ones better. What could be better than a product that really works well and is better for the planet than the other choices out there? I won’t change brands after finding these!

I really dont get it.. I started using these wipes after buying the pack of 12 and my baby developed diaper rash. She rarely got diaper rash before, so I dont get why this wipe would give it to her. When I stopped using this wipe and used a different brand her rash went away.. Plus I dislike the smell these wipes have. Granted they claim to be unscented, but there is a strange smell to them. Now I am stuck with 900 wipes and I am out $35 bucks. I would recommend trying them out before buying a massive amount of them like I did.. BIG MISTAkE on my part.

I love these wipes!
We changed wipes when my daughter had a reaction to her regular diapers. We changed wipes first then diapers and realized it was the diapers that was the problem, but I loved…

I ordered these wipes from Amazon in mid 2008 and again in early 2009, but the wipes were different. See Customer Images.

In 2008, the front of the package was beige and had “seventh GENERATION baby” on the “leaf” logo. The text on the front was in English only; the back was stamped “MADE IN UK.” The ingredients were “Water, Cetyl Hydroxyethylcellulose (plant-derived cleaning agent), Glycerin (vegetable oil derived), Citric Acid (provides stability and pH balance), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E acetate), Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate (food-grade preservatives).” As of 2009, the weight of the package was 1 pound (although it’s possible that moisture is slowly leaking out).

In 2009, the front of the package was blue and gray, and had just “seventh GENERATION” on the “leaf” logo on the front. The opening to access the wipes is smaller than in 2008. The text on the front was in English and French; the back was stamped “MADE IN USA.” The ingredients were “Water, Polysorbate 20 (cleansing agent derived from sugar), Glycerin (soothes and cleanses skin, vegetable oil derived), Citric acid (provides stability & pH balance), Potassium sorbate (a natural preservative), Aloe Barbadensis Gel (helps heal skin), Tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E acetate, helps heal skin).” These ingredients were rated 2 (a “low” hazard) on a cosmetic safety database on the Web. The weight of the package was 1-1/4 pounds when received.

Although both packages said “unscented,” there was actually a slight odor perhaps from the citric acid and aloe. We’ve used both the 2008/UK and the 2009/US versions without problems like diaper rash. Buy these from Amazon.com!

baby wipes
Love these wipes. My daughter is 10 months old and I just purchased my second box. This is a great bargain and the wipes are very gentle and soft.

it’s ok
the wipes are not as ‘wet’ as perhaps previously? I am not sure. It would be nice if each sheet were larger too.

Green but linty
I like these because they are chlorine and perfume free, and they work just fine, but they do leave lint and are thin.

How to decide, right? Which diapers? Which wipes? Which stroller? Which wife? … Well, this one is easy. These wipes are great.

Great wipes
We love these wipes. They stay moist and are much cheaper here than at the local stores. We keep them in a dispenser from another company and just keep refilling.
