I guess I did not understand exactly what I was ordering. I thought this was a potty seat that hooked to any toilet, and I could take it anywhere and he could use it anywhere. This is not a rational purchase. This is like a port-a-potty… Who is going to let their child use the bathroom out in the complete open?

I have yet to find out if this product will work for my baby. I ordered Sep.18 and its just taking frustratingly long to ship…really thinking of cancelling my order. I did choose the free-shipping option since it was eligible…first time and I’m not sure if it has something to do with that.

This potty is completely useless. It is so small that my three years olds’ knees are up by his shoulders when he sits on it. It is unstable on those little plastic legs and it’s opening is too small for their little bottoms and it hurts them to sit on it. This potty only stands about four inches off the ground so unless your toddler is the size of a six month old this thing is useless.

I took this on a short trip, it proved useless. It’s unstable, has a sharp edge which cuts into the baby’s bottom — I can’t understand how anyone would be expected to sit on this… especially a potty-training child?
My daughter was fairly young when we tried it (we did some early PT, and she was about 10 months old). She’s now 2, fully pt, but will still not go near it. If it was so flimpsy for a 10 months old, how would it do under the weight of an older child? Beyond me.
I still give it 2 stars, because it’s an otherwise neat idea. Impractical execution, though.

We started potty training quite early, when my daughter was around 18 months old. She was too young to be able to hold very long after she told me she needed to go so I did not have the option to find a public restroom and go there. Holding her to go on the grass wasn’t an option either because she was 35 lbs and not relaxed enough to go when held.
I love how small the potty is when folded, fits right into my diaper bag. I’ve been carrying it in there for 10 months already, we still use it a lot!!!
When you open the potty legs they lock into place so that the potty cannot fold while the kid is sitting on it. It is small but comfy enough for my big girl. She had to get used to it though. Don’t give up when your child does not love it right away. Letting him sit on it without a liner in nature is a good way to start. Some kids don’t like the feeling of a plastic bag on their bottoms.
I recommended it to many friends. Some love it like me and use it all the time – others (with older kids) don’t use it often. I don’t buy the liners, use the thin vegetable bags from my grocery store instead (after checking if they aren’t leaky). Works great. And while in nature I let her sit on this potty without a bag, she goes on the grass sitting comfortably. She loves it.
Highly recommended when heading outdoors after some days of staying at home because of potty training.
Not recommended to use as a regular potty at home though. Some people ask me about this option (especially fathers, who never emptied a regular potty and think throwing out a bag would be less gross). It is too small and too low so that my daughter needs my assistance to sit down on it and to stand up from it and think of the enviroment, you would continue spoiling our nature with bags after having finished doing it with disposable diapers for two years.
