I have a small 2 year-old child in the 10th percentile in weight. This seat works well for his small rump. The top portion of the seat removes very easily (which could be a good or bad thing, depending on your child). The rubber lining on the bottom also keeps it in place fairly well when he sits on it.
I can only assume that it will work fine for the generously proportioned toddlers, as well. I don’t see why it wouldn’t. And don’t blame yourself for having a fat baby. His or her fatness may be entirely your fault, but just don’t blame yourself. It’s easier that way. Life’s short. Eat bonbons. Right?

My daughter, 20 months, has been using this potty regularly for 2 months. It has been great and she loves it! The rubber around the bottom really does secure it to the floor and it is super easy to clean. No funny parts or crevices to get dirty.
She is of average size and this potty fits her quite well. I originally got this one because I wanted to teach her to sit on in while she was still quite small (14 months). But she has not out grown it at all and we won’t need to get another one before she moves up to the big potty (with a ring). She enjoys it so much that sometimes she will sit on it to read books during naked time. The splash gaurd/hump in front does not bother her at all; she has learned to get on and off of it gracefully. I am planning to use it as a travel potty once she graduates to using the big potty/ring at home.

This is the perfect potty. Small, yet big enough for their little bottoms. Very easy to clean. I highly recommend this one!!!

My 16 month old daughter loves it, and so do I. It is the perfect size, both feet can reach the floor, and it’s the only potty we have found to be able to do so. It is featured on potty videos also – so it really helps her out seeing other little ones using the same potty as well. Perfect color for either sex too.

Love this potty seat, easy to clean and fit great for a boy or girl. I run a daycare and finally invested in a good one….should have bought it sooner.
