I read that eating the wrong foods can cause a baby to spit up when your breast feeding. My lil one started spitting up yesterday and well into today. She has been super hungry today and has been feeding most of the day but she spits up a lot and seems fussy. What do I need to eat a lot of and what do I not need to eat? Any advice?

The majority of women can eat what they want.
Occasionally a baby has food sensitivities and certain foods need to be moderated or even eliminated from mom’s diet.
Here’s a good link that will help you out. http://kellymom.com/babyconcerns/food-se…
Before you go cutting anything with milk out or all green veg, consider that maybe your baby just doesn’t feel well, it does happen.
Trial and error is the key. Usually whatever you ate the day prior is partly what is used in producing your milk.
My Children would usually become fussy if I ate broccoli. even though it is so good for you and I loved it. So I tried eating fresh spinach instead and they were not near as gassy. Remember You should still try to burp the baby even though you are nursing.
My sisters baby would get fussy if she ate onions. hehehe go figure.
Nothing to really worry about within 24 hours of eating what ever it was that caused it, it is gone. unless of course you eat it again. So via trial and error, you learn what their likes and dislikes are. Try eating a peppermint daily. It is very good for digestion and could help.
She may just be gassy. I’d ask her doctor about gripe water or something to help.
Chances are it wasn’t anything you ate that caused it.
