From the Manufacturer
The Breastflow Starter Set is a great gift for expecting and new moms. The kit includes everything needed to get started: two 5 oz bottles with Stage 1 nipples and bottle covers, two 9 oz bottles with Stage 2 flow nipples and bottle covers, a unique snap-to-bottle container, and bottle brush. Breastflow is the only feeding system that requires both suction and compression, just like breastfeeding. The nipple is designed to mimic the breast so baby can latch on and to encourage the same mouth and tongue position as breast feeding. The double nipple system requires both suction and compression, just like breast feeding and baby controls the flow of milk. It’s the bottle most like breastfeeding. The Breastflow System is ideal for nursing moms who would like to introduce a bottle, are returning to work, or need to supplement while their baby is in day care or with a caregiver. Because Breastflow bottles so closely mimic the feel and action of breastfeeding, care givers can bottle feed baby while Mom is working and Mom can still continue to breastfeed. Breastflow bottles are bisphenol-free (BPA-free).

I bought the original versions of these that weren’t BPA free for my first child and they were great! We had no issues with going between breast and bottle because they require the same latching as on a breast. I think this also helped with gas and overfeeding since the baby controls the flow. I have recommended these to all of my pregnant friends and I just purchased the new BPA free set since I am pregnant again. Worth every penny for the comfort of my child!

the only bottle my breast fed baby will take
We tried getting my daughter to take a bottle daily starting at 4 weeks. During a 5 week span, we tried the Adiri, Evenflow, Playtex Ventaire, Nuk, and Sassy Mam without success…

Decent
I had high hopes for these bottles. They aren’t the perfect bottle that I was hoping for, but they do a good job.
We first bought the Sassy Mam bottles and were pretty happy with those, but while those helped with our little one in terms of gulping air, she did need to stop every so often to spit up, because the flow was too fast even with the slow flow nipples. We bought these bottles because my wife was also attempting to breastfeed, and while that didn’t work out, we like these bottles better than the Sassy Mams. Our little one can control the rate at which she feeds, and we don’t need to stop for spit ups, or need to burp excessively after a whole bottle. I also like how even though the nipples are two pieces, the bottles as a whole are easier to clean than the Sassy Mams. We discovered that leaks are a problem if you feed, then attempt to refill the same bottle with more formula, as the formula that gets trapped between the nipples drains out between the cap and the bottle when unscrewed. Once we figured out to drain the nipples using the release tabs, then rinse the nipples before recapping to get the original seal, leaks have not been an issue. Overall we are seriously considering buying more bottles as our little one gets bigger.
These bottles are so great. They really do look just like a breastfeeding mom’s nipples look when the baby latches on- by flattening the nipple. My baby has no problem switching b/w breast and bottle b/c of breastflow. LOVE them and very easy to clean. The double nipple system is very simple.

Poor product
My son hates this. It’s too hard for him to get the milk out of the bottle. He doesn’t even try anymore.
I breastfeed him also and trust me….

NOT worth the money. Period.
For us the Cons outweighed any pros…
Cons:
1. Flow was insanely fast for my son from 2wks all the way to 6wks. He was drowning in milk.
2.

Love these!
I’ve purchased 2 bpa-free starter sets already and have just purchased another! My son had refused to latch-on since he was primarily bottle-fed while we were in the hospital (I…

A rip-off!!!!

As for the bottles themselves, they are great. My baby had problems latching on after birth, so I had to use a nipple shield.
